JURCOM Teknoloji A.Ş. takes the highest level of security measures to ensure that your personal data is collected, stored, and shared in accordance with the law and to protect your privacy.

Our goal is to provide you with full transparency regarding how your personal data is collected, processed, shared, its legal reasons, and your rights, as required by Article 10 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698, in line with your satisfaction.

a) Data Controller

Under the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“The Law No. 6698”), your personal data is collected and processed by JURCOM Teknoloji A.Ş. (“COMPANY”) in the scope outlined below, as the data controller.

b) Purposes for Processing Personal Data

The COMPANY collects personal data from its customers, employees, potential customers, official representatives, business partners, and suppliers in the following categories: identity information, contact information, customer information, personnel information, customer transaction information, transaction security information, legal process and compliance information, and marketing and sales information.

The collected personal data is used for the following purposes:

  • To provide COMPANY services, fulfill our obligations to you, organize records and documents, comply with local and international legal regulations, and meet information retention, reporting, tax, and other obligations.
  • To carry out necessary work and processes by relevant departments for business activities.
  • To communicate with you regarding IT needs, system requirements, and support services, and provide information related to services and products.
  • For sales and marketing activities, traffic measurement, statistical analysis, and CRM work.
  • To measure and increase customer satisfaction, manage complaints, obtain feedback on new services and products, report issues, and provide information regarding products, services, and your complaints or requests.
  • To contact you, take orders, process payments, evaluate and improve the quality of the online service provided, and manage our customer portfolio.
  • For comparative service offerings, modeling, and potential or new service development within the scope of the COMPANY’s main agreements and applicable legal regulations.
  • To comply with official obligations for information retention, reporting, and compliance with legal requirements.
  • For determining and implementing the COMPANY’s commercial and operational strategies, including financial operations, communication, market research, procurement operations (demand, offer, evaluation, order, budgeting, contract), and internal system and legal management.
  • To evaluate and respond to requests from official authorities or from you.

These data processing purposes are carried out in accordance with the conditions and purposes outlined in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law No. 6698.

c) Who Your Personal Data May Be Transferred To and for What Purposes

Your personal data may be transferred within the framework of the processing purposes mentioned above to:

  • The COMPANY’s business partners, shareholders, affiliates,
  • To entities or individuals authorized by the Tax Procedure Law, Social Security Institution regulations, Court of Accounts, Anti-Money Laundering Law, Turkish Commercial Code, and other legal regulations,
  • Public authorities, administrative authorities, and legal authorities,
  • The COMPANY’s foreign subsidiaries and affiliates,
  • Entities that provide services for product/service comparison, analysis, evaluation, advertisement, and collaboration, such as our partners, couriers, and organizations with which we have agreements regarding notifications.
 

d) Methods of Collecting Personal Data and Legal Grounds

Your personal data is collected through both fully or partially automated means and non-automated methods as part of the data recording system.

The personal data is collected through applications on our website or mobile application, customer support services, telephone calls, or electronic channels like social media.

Data collection occurs based on the following legal grounds:

  • Explicit consent,
  • Legal obligation to fulfill the COMPANY’s legal responsibilities,
  • Necessity for the establishment or performance of a contract,
  • Processing being necessary for the legitimate interests of the COMPANY without violating your fundamental rights and freedoms,
  • Publicly disclosed by you,
  • The establishment, use, or protection of a legal right.
 

e) Rights of the Data Subject Under Article 11 of the Law No. 6698

As a personal data subject, you have the right to request:

  • Whether your personal data is being processed,
  • If your personal data has been processed, to request information about it,
  • The purposes for which your personal data is being processed and whether it is being used in compliance with these purposes,
  • The third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,
  • The correction of incomplete or incorrect personal data,
  • The deletion or destruction of personal data when the reasons for its processing no longer exist,
  • The right to object to automated processing that produces legal effects,
  • Request compensation for damages in case of unlawful processing of personal data.

To exercise these rights, you can submit your request to the COMPANY through the methods outlined in Article 13 of the Law No. 6698. The response will be provided within thirty days and up to a maximum of ten pages, free of charge. A processing fee of 1 Turkish Lira per page will be charged for responses that exceed ten pages. If your request is delivered in electronic format (CD, flash drive), the fee will not exceed the cost of the media.

  • Your name, surname, and signature (if written application),
  • Turkish ID number (for Turkish citizens), nationality, passport number, or identity number (for foreigners),
  • Address for notifications,
  • Your contact email, phone, or fax number,
  • Subject of your request.
